The meeting is the result of teamwork
5. Mar 2020
“Simple” and “quick-to-apply” tricks to make meetings effective can be easily found in quantities, but if not all the parties are involved, there will be little to do.
If there is any courage to complain about poor organization of the meetings, lower-level executives, to whom only a handful of colleagues are subordinate, still tend to be hit. It is also relatively easy for this contingent to dice on all kinds of training sessions where the basics of “always set a certain agenda” are undoubtedly implemented. They can apply the learned details in practice with outstanding diligence, but it does not change or change the big picture if senior management let it go the same way.
No one is alone in the meeting room, and so the path of repentance still needs to be taken together. In the process, the question is likely to arise soon: is this meeting needed at all, and if so, is it for these people and here? It is only after answering this that it is worthwhile to move the chairs in the meeting room and measure the talk time of the speakers with the stopwatch.
In March, the MySpotit team will launch a new service that, in addition to making room reservations, will help you set up a meeting schedule and send invitations out of the MySpotit environment.
This way you can get deeper into communicating with colleagues and achieving goals together :)!
